A 2022 Vision
Friction Cycles is Bristol's brand new independent bike shop! Born from a passion for bicycles, we decided to open a store for the amazing cycling community that surrounds us.
We are stockists of mountain bikes, city and hybrid bikes, e-bikes, gravel bikes, children's bikes and hold a large range of parts, accessories and clothing. Being passionate mountain bikers, we have a natural focus on these bikes in store, however we love and service all types of bicycles. We are huge advocates for cycling in the city and will actively work with our council and other organisations to promote cycling and make it more accessible, convert motorists to cyclists and help people find and enjoy a love for cycling.
We plan for Friction to be way more than just another bike shop! Our goal is to give back as much as possible to the amazing network around us, whether it be by helping riders get to races, supporting local trails groups, organising events and rides, whilst helping to develop and coach the future generations. We want to give back to the sport what it has brought to us, many happy and healthy years of enjoyment, friendships and good times!
